I know!!!!!!!! It's right around the corner! Wow, 123 days left! On the 50th or the 100th day (7/30/04 or 6/10/04), we're thinking about having a lil get-together.

Order balloons for RD
Give final count for RD
Make sure all the guys go for tuxedo fitting
Finish buying GM gifts

Re: Calling All September 18th Brides
Wow, your list is still a long one. What I have left is:*Go for marriage license
*Address invitations (already put them together)
*Mail invitations by end of June, too
*Order bubbles and/or rice
*Make cones for rice
*Buy gift wrapping material; wrap gifts
*Go with BMs go for their first fitting
*Go for my first fitting (end of June)
*Order RD invites, then mail - still don't know where we're having it (any suggestions?)
*Tuxes need to be rented
*Start buying BM gifts
*Order/Pick up bands
*Confirm with vendors
*Set up seating arrangements; print seating cards
*Bring stuff to Leonard's
*Select menu & linen color (in July)
*Put together goody-bags for the bachelorette weekend in Vegas.
*And the most important part - pay for everything! lol. Everything has been paid off, except the reception hall. That we'll do in July.
Wow, I thought we didn't have anything else to do, but there's still the minor details that need tweaking... for the most part, the hard part is over, right?

Re: Calling All September 18th Brides
Really? Why?I can understand though... I'm feeling alittle anxious, scared, happy, impatient, excited all at the same time. Then again, I've been with my FH for over 5 years already... it was about time for me... lol. how long had you ladies been dating before the big Q (
) ?

Re: Calling All September 18th Brides
Bryan and I were together for a little over 9 months before he proposed....no there wasn't a bun in the oven
. It was a really tough 9 months for both of us family-wise and we got really close, really quick. As far as my scared comment from earlier: Partially because I lost my father months before Bryan proposed, I just feel as though I have not been able to take a big breath and let it all sink in yet about getting married. I'm one of those people who really enjoys being in the moment, I guess, and I just feel like everything is going by too fast.

Re: Calling All September 18th Brides
Also, it's probably a little hard picturing that day without your dad walking you down. I can relate, because my dad died when I was young, and it's hurt me for years that he hasn't been there for big events (1st communion, Graduation, Engagement, Wedding, etc...).We have a lot in common, Kriss, good and bad.
