I need to give my DJ a list of songs I DO want him to play
Can anyone help me out with songs they had played at their wedding that u requested!! Thanks in advance DeniseSpecially songs that got the crowd up dancing and kept them there!

i have to say i was pretty big on the- can't touch this by mchammer, joy and pain, rob base, anything by ll cool j, anything by beyonce, anything by bruce springsteen, etc.i just kept writing anything by .... instead of particular songs. he thought it was a good idea

Good post .. I'm struggling with 'MUST PLAY' songs also to give our DJ. FH and I have very specific taste, but we know we have to have a 'variety' of dance songs for the older crowd and to keep it balanced. But i don't want things played I hate hearing, either!more suggestions everyone! So far, some of the ones posted are great, but there are a few I just cannot play and be happy about
I.e., I really do not like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, even though I know its a crowd pleaser

I hear what you are saying about it being a crowd pleaser. Whenever I play it when I am DJing at Sutton Place NYC... it seems like the girls go nuts. Especially the bachelorette parties that I have there!
But of course, I don't care for the song much myself so I can definitely agree with people when they say they don't care for it.
