What's the point of planning a wedding if you die from stress before the big day?

Can anything else go wrong?

- bridesmaids dresses too small
- my dress ordered 4 sizes too big and they had to rip it apart (beading and all) to alter it
- FH wedding band the wrong one and my wedding band engraved with the wrong thing
- 2 BM canceled hair appts the morning of the wedding after I already paid in advance
- ceremony programs finally came in after 2 months with our last name spelled wrong

I'll answer my own question - yes OF COURSE more can go wrong, there's still 2 weeks left!

I have come to the conclusion that I can't stress about everything bc it will drive me crazy. As long as FH, our parents and the pastor are there that's all that matters. I just want to be married so we can live the rest of our lives.

oh no im so sorry. its all work out fine. my recently married friend told me - engagement is like pregnancy - you complain the whole time but after the big event all you do is have warm fuzzy memories about it.

thanks, that's funny - kind of like some other things in life (high school, old relationships, etc.) - you hate it when you are going through it but then when you graduate/break up, it was the best thing ever!

Oh god girl.....hang in there. Look at it this way if everything goes wrong ahead of time evrything will be PERFECT the day of!!

It'll be fine! Take deep breaths and remember that the MOST important thing is that you're marrying the love of your life - everything else is gravy!

I feel for you - I'm having little situations of my own. Right now I wish we just eloped! I try to forget about all the stress and just hope it all works out for the best. I think I definitely would have done some things differently if I had the chance to do it all over again. Live and learn!!!

I feel you, and I have like 10 months to go. Like everyone says, it will be worth it in the end or we might just kill a few people along the way.

I am so sorry we didnt elope!! To many people wanting to many things from me and I am just one person. I am spending all this $ why?

We are getting married on the same date, and I can totally relate.
At the second fitting, my dress had green spots throughout the skirt because they left in safety pins from preparing the bustle. Then the band got a new singer. (He sounds great, but still, an unexpected change.) The store messed up the usher's gifts and won't have them in time. To top it off, this Sunday my church announced it will be closed from June 1-11 because they are ripping out the floor. My wedding is the next day!
I hope it makes you feel better to know this really does happen to everyone. Good luck with the rest of your planning. We can do it! (Plus we are going to enjoy our honeymoons even more.)

My mom always says.....don't go mad You will go to the crazy house...instead of the church. So, when every thing are not going my way..I try to take deep breaths..and says..things will work itself out..

Try to relax your day will be amazing, these are just little bumps in the road in the grand scheme of things

i will tell you what my mother keeps telling me: the reason you are getting married is to celebrate your love for each other and as long as you get to say your vows to each other on that day then nothing else should worry you
i agree with her but then i tell her you expect perfection when you are paying so much $$$ for the wedding
