It is hard to tell. It looks like very dark brown that almost looks black.

i zoom in on picture with photoshop...it's more black to me

i can understand where you see the brown color but still, more black

chocolate - where did you find this invite, i love it! i couldn't find any brown that i liked to save my life as we are having an ivory, brown, pink and orange colors...

I almost got that invitation. Its definately brown the paper is stardream brown and opal. Its by Elite.

The Elite invitations are customizable you can change the color of the brown to one of the other colors they have. So you can still use them if you want.
