For all of you that are using them or know of someone who used them what are your opinions?? TIA

We clicked with the owner Dominic right away. He is exactly what we were looking for. We will have 2 photographers 1 regular photographer and 1 photojournalist. They don't include albums in the package so that keeps the price down. You can decide on the album after the wedding is over. They had gorgeous digital albums available. This way the deposit is less also because you are not paying for the album up front. It is a totally different approach to wedding photography and I love it. He was very honest and into his photography. We are saving ourselves money and not sacrificing style and quality. Also what is cool is you get a DVD with all the proofs on it with all the image files so you own them and also the negatives. Another thing about 12th Night I found so cool and different is Dom said he does not advertise. He said you can't do a search on a search engine and find his website. The only way you hear about them is through word of mouth which is so true. I have never seen an advertisement for him. He said this keeps costs down. I thought that was pretty cool.

I also clicked with Dominic right away- then when I saw the books, I was blown away. Its exactly what we are looking for. No cheesy shots, each book was different adn very original. We want more photojournalist style, B&W, etc...Then I had my engagement photos with him. Let me tell you- if my wedding is as fun as my engagemetn shots (and FH did nto want to take them), then we will have a blast. You can do a search of my past posts with the pictures in them. I love Dominic! He is the greatest!

We booked w/ them because the photography was great and the prices were perfect. Additionally, we also 'clicked' w/ Dominic. We figured we will probably spend 1/2 our day with our photographers, you might as well like their personality. Just a warning though - he is a little chatty....

We are going into to book with him Thursday night, we were there last week and really liked his work! He doesn't want every penny from you, he really encourages you to do as much of the stuff yourself :)

I am also going with 12th night, but Dominic is not shooting my wedding (because he is already booked). Another photographer who works for twelfth night (her name is Geraldine) is doing my wedding. She takes beautiful pictures. Ask to see her album (she has one there). She is very sweet.

Yes I have heard great things about Geraldine. Also Cynthia takes awesome photojournalistic pictures.

Yes I found her website one day and in the 'about' section states she works for 12th Night. The photojournalistic pictures were beautiful.

UPDATED: Twelth Night Photography

We went last night to meet with Dominick - what a nice guy! We really liked them and their style of photography - I love all the candid shots they take, it seems that they really try to capture the emotions of the day.

How do you guys feel about all the digital pictures and doing a lot of the work yourself?? I spoke with two of my friends who are married/getting married and they didn't like that approach - I happened to like them a lot but after talking with them made me question it a little - and I just wanted your opinions - THANKS

My FI is a graphic artist so he knows how to put the albums together and stuff himself which was a positive for us... Do you know anyone that could help you with this? Otherwise, Dominic WILL do them for you... we just really loved their work and all that you got from them... for us, we don't mind the extra work because its worth it :)

FH and I were a little worried about that, but you can definitely make your own albums. There are couple of websites that allow you to
purchase the albums and the type of inserts (page backgrounds) and mats (picture shapes). If you have digital proofs all you have to do is order them online (once you decide what you want the album to look like) and you can do it yourself. FH and I think it will be fun to do ourselves. However, if we don't feel like doing it, we will let Dominick do it. Also we don't plan on buying one of those digital albums, we want to keep the album traditional and he said he can do that too. Depending on what you prefer ask him what he will do to accomodate you.
