I am feeling pretty satisified with myself for making my RSVP date Sept 15
it took another two weeks to really get all the RSVPs back.
I know a lot of people say you should RSVP one month before, but god, does ANYONE even READ the due date?

It's funny you posted that because I thought the very same thing!!! Holy heavens Friday is October! It came so quick, I'm glad I have 3 weeks into the month....I'M NOT READY YET!

i can't believe it is coming so fast. we still have so much to do, bu i know it will get done by the amount of work that we got done in our house this weekend.
we have to do
place cards/seating arrangements
programs
tie bows/tags on favors
i am still waiting for 40 or so responses. we are going to be under our minimum. anyone know if halls will work with you, or if they just say that's your min. and too bad? do you think it would be worth a shot to ask?

omg
omg!!!!
I was very productive this weekend which took a huge weight off my shoulders!!!
-- finished my seating
-- finished my votive placecards
-- packed up all my reception stuff and labeled all the boxes
-- purchased the cardbox and our Unity candles
-- got my eyebrows waxed and got a facial
-- finished printing my menus
WHew!!! I still haven't decided on whether or not to get a cake server set.... don't know why I'm deliberating so much over something so trivial!!
But that's it, I think... all my major projects are DONE!! What a HUGE relief! The only major things left to do are:
-- make my "Thank you" sign for the infamous thank you pic
-- prep the bridal emergency kit
-- jewelry for my gown (yeah, still on that)
-- finalize & confirm details with all vendors
-- get baskets for the programs and other misc church stuff

Wow, you are right this week ends in October. Now I'm starting to get nervous. This weekend I got fitted for my dress, met with our Rabbi and took another dance lesson (I think we're actually going to do a real dance for everyone).
I still need to find something for my bridesmaids and groomsmen
make OOT bags,
find a shawl or something to keep me warm, figure out what to do about jewelry,
seating arrangements and place cards,
bathroom basket stuff
There must be more stuff......can't remember.
This weekend is my bachelorette weekend. It wont be crazy, they're taking me to a spa in NJ (just the bridal party) and then we'll go out for a great meal (and martini's-though 3 out of the 5 are pregnant how wild could it be). Can't wait for the massage, my back is killing me.
Someone tell me what I'm forgetting to do.

Oh goodness....Friday is October, I guess I"m getting there.....
This weekend we met with our coordinator at the Sheraton and did the WHOLE menu. From top to bottom.
Worked on seating arrangements.
We still need to do the actual place cards and a whole other list of things I don't want to think ok...did everyone get their marriage license???? I'm going on the 8th of October.

I'm not ready for October. I still have tons to do and FH can't really help me. I hate going to work and thinking all day what I have to do after work for the wedding. 19 more days of work.

Mymom wants to pay, buthave the girlstip..notsure how to work that.
This is just a guess, but I just have 1 limo driver, it cost about $400, so I'd tip 50?Is that normal-ish?
Florist I ahve noidea. igues sit depens,ifitsjsutadelivery person,$20?
If theflorsit iscomign&settignthingsupf or you,maybe $75?
My church florist is setting that up for us, but its not a lot. I will give Fh$ to tip him, but I don't know if he will still bethere when he gets there.

Each girls person should handle their own tip. Unless you're feeling very generous and want to tip for everybody!!
The tip is included in our limos so we are tipping above that (if they are great) maybe $50 each. I remember I was planning to tip $100 and everyone on here told me it was too much.
The florist delivery person should probably get around $25 or so I imagine.

I am 10 days away FI still has not gotten groomsman gifts. I still need a pocketbook, and we are still doing placecards and the seating chart. I can't believe it is so close!

ok this isn't really wedding related, but i am excited, and i also need a kick to start doing the wedding stuff i need to do.
...i have done nothing wedding related except take dance lessons since i have gotten the house.
the good news is that in the house everything is painted and the wood floors are getting done today. then it will be moving all our stuff in. the shower is being installed in the bathroom downstairs, but i can't do anything with that.
i still need to

meet with DJ
final fitting
final meeting with florist
suprisingly i am not stressed out yet...
we also aren't going to meet our minimum which kind of stinks, but i'll get over it. my fi invited some people from work and so far one couple is coming so that is a good think. i hope that they all will. we shall see...
