Hey I'm another 10/23 bride! My rsvp is much later than everyone's - October 9th (but I am not doing seating arrangements). Invites will go out mid-August.

We don’t have a rehearsal per se. The night before Oct 22nd we’re taking both families to dinner. THAT is when I’m wearing my red dress (which I still haven’t bought) which is a Chinese tradition for weddings. We’re going to Chinatown. BIG group for just two families. 7 on my side 5 on his side then us. So 14 all together. I ‘BELIEVE’ his mother is picking up this tab. I sure hope so!

OK LADIES...
I've been hiding out lately because there is just so much going on in my life, I had to take a break. I've returned to do some power wedding planning because I haven't done anything in the last two months. I feel just like you Oct.2004bride. I just can't get motivated!
I'm looking at invites now... need to do limos, and all the small stuff like table names, place cards, bm gifts, accessories etc.
I'm excited because my dress just came in and now I get to do fittings... Now it'll feel real!
I am up and planning again...glad that you are on your power planning...
SO what are ya doing now???
I am trying to get the HM done and the invites finished!
Well, still haven't picked out invites. I'm horrible. I actually found one I like, but I'm waiting for Mom to get off her arse and give me the nod of approval. Honeymoon is done, thank god!
I saw my dress, Yeah! I also peeked at my registrys, and some items have been purchased, so I have a feeling my shower is coming up soon! YEAH!!!
What you been up to??? Which invite did you go with?

I found some invites that I like. I need my FH and Mother to go look at them and then I can order them! We still need to do our HM! I just found out my dress is in!!! OMG - this is really happening isn't it!

I FINALLY found an apartment that I LOVE!!!
It's in a complex and it's just perfect. We're working on the favors as well. For all my 23rd girls....we're in double digits WEDNESDAY!!! SO EXCITING! Let me know how you're progressing.

I ordered invitations this weekend, and finally ordered my flower girl's dress this morning. She's wearing blue, and it was nearly impossible to find a blue dress!
I think I have all the really big stuff done now. I can start obsessing over the little details!

This weekend I finally got all the 'ingredients' to make my CD favors!
Also, FMIL decided to fully host the rehearsal dinner and booked it at Three Village Inn in stonybrook! I LOVE that place and I am so excited about it!

I know that mt shower invites are going out this week!!! I need to call and make my first fitting appointment, get my undergarments altered and finalize invites this week. I also need to speak w/ the priest and determine which day my RD will be on. Full steam ahead!!!

My guy is nearly as busy as me (the pastor) so it's hard for me to remember to call him and hard for him to get back to me.

sending mine out by the end of this week and my response date is Aug 20th!!!
I think most people know in less than a month if they are going to attend or not

Well, date twin, I am going August 26th- 7pm.
I got a lot done this weekend ( finally!) purchased BM jewellery & wedding bands, had 2nd to last meeting with pastor, bought wrapping paper for the favors, decided on labels for the favors ( ordering today!) made progress on our maps  ( PIA!) & moved the rehearsal from 7 to 5 30, so now we have to find a restaurant in Hicksville.
I can't list all the other things I have to do, it will drive me crazy!
