What do you think of this idea as a favor?Edited to add pic

This past weekend I went to the Mikasa outlets looking for favors, I came across a nutcracker and I thought to myself this is different from the average candleholder/candlesticks. So my sister had this idea to fill up an organza bag with walnuts and give attach the nutcracker to the bag. What do you thing? would you do it?

Attached is a pic of the nutcracker. I believe it was around $2.50 each. Or maybe cheaper. What do you think?

I wish I had a pic. I'm going to look on the Mikasa website. I think it's by Studio Nova which is part of Mikasa. It's actually really nice and pretty heavy. I can even engrave our names on it. Hold on let me see if I can find a pic.

Isnt that a lobster cracker? I have a set of those at my house that look just like that for lobster. But I dont eat nuts so maybe its a nutcracker too?

ahh, a lobster cracker! I was wondering why it was a nutcracker that looked like a lobster. Unless it was a theme thing, it seemed weird, so I voted no.

Oh yeah, maybe it is a lobster cracker? is that the same thing?? lol...i'm clueless.
If I remember correctly it was around $2.00 or $2.50, it was on sale.

Lobster crackers and nutcrackers aren't usually distinguishable, BUT the one you showed has actual lobster claws as handles.

I voted maybe because I like the idea but that is a lobster cracker not a nutcracker! Sorry! If you could find a nutcracker I think it would be great!

I would say no just because I think nuts are a wierd favor.... unless they are jordan almonds.

Also I'm deathly allergic to Walnuts so even the thought of 50 or so organza bags filled with them scares the hell out of me! If I was invited I wouldn't even be able to take more then 10minutes in there.

So just be careful if you have anyone with a nut allergy.
