It is a 1.5 BR , first floor of a brownstone in downtown Jersey City. Huge kitchen, living room and bathroom, nice fireplace. We use the 1/2 BR as an office. I have a 5 minute walk to the PATH train for work and I am at 33rd Street NYC in 20 minutes.

The neighborhood is very similiar to downtown Brooklyn if you are familiar, very up and coming, artsy, mixed, a lot of young professional people mixed with some families who have been there for years. I live around the corner from a really nice mall and from Shop Rite. Plus the waterfront is nearby and very very nice. My neighbors are quiet. Plus you don't pay NYC resident taxes if you work in Manhattan!
