I dont know if I want FH to see me!!! It will be hard... I guess he has to since I wanna see how long it lasts and after that I have to go home and take care of our son! lol

HB - BTW I dont know if you were going to do the trials already but Oksana lives in freshmeadows not far from us soo for the trial instead of her coming to your house and charging $55 you can go to her house and then its only $35

Hmmmm I go to her house if I were you. Fresh Meadows isnt pretty close. But on the day of, Id have someone else drive - I would be too nervous to be behind a wheel that day!

In my case, I am going to try and find a place that does hair & makeup. I am getting my haircut next week and I am going to talk to the owner about prices....

I would like to set up an appt. for a trial with her too. I thought it was too early thought. I was thinking Sept.. I see you are getting married 5 days before me.. maybe I should go soon too. Is this your first trial?

I thought it was a little early also but ALOT of people have told me that when they went to book makeup the people they wanted were already taken!!! I called JN first but she will be on her honeymoon the week of my wedding.

If I like the trial then no one! Oksana has great 'winter special prices' isntead of $75 a person ( she charges the same for brides and bridesmaids) its $65 and if you have 4 or more girls ( bm's or moms) do their makeup that day through her then she does your makeup free! Its only Dec-Feb though.
I really wanted JN but since shes not available my next choice would probably be Jillian from gorgeous faces.

Unfortunatly I dont think she does

When I called yesterday I wanted to book an appt. for a friday.. that way maybe I can get to wear the makeup out lol but shes booked every fri/sat/sun well through july!!!
And she told me she had someone else already pending for my date so I didnt want to wait that long!!!

Congrats!!! I booked my hair and make up trial too. I have a hair trial with Mya from Cosmetic Artistry and a make up trial with Patti from Beautiful beginnings. I know I am really early but I go back to grad school at night next month and I am trying to get the most done. Have you booked your hair trial yet? Good luck and take pics!!!
