Re: Friday Fun: Favorite Sesame Street memory of all time

I was fascinated with Sesame Street!! There is one skit that always stays in my memory (don't know if anyone remembers). It was a skit with a little girl (or boy?) and she is walking down the street with her pet llama and they are going to the doctor together!!! The song in the background is something like, "Me and my llama goin to the doctor." I swear they were walking the streets of New York together. I thought it was so odd!! They used to play that one all the time does anyone remember? There were a lot of great skits!!

Re: Friday Fun: Favorite Sesame Street memory of all time

Ok, I am a big bird fan (or was when I was little)

my dad remembers being in the car with me and a classic rock song (was just rock then not classic) had a line in it 'big bird up in the sky' or 'big bird in the sky'

I am thinking its an Allman Bros. tune or something.

Anyway, he remembers me getting all excited about big bird.

Thats my memory..

...of I go to remember that song now...

Re: Friday Fun: Favorite Sesame Street memory of all time

There was also one about milk and it starts off with a little girl crying in her crib for milk. In the process it shows how milk is produced and even how it is delivered to the house!! I used to feel so bad for the baby because she was crying hysterically for her milk, I would cry too!!! There was a song in the background about milk. Does anyone remember that one? At the end, she gets the milk!!

Does anyone rememeber that book- "There's a Monster at teh End of the Book" with grover- he keeps trying to stop you from turning the pages, but of course the only monster at the end of the book is loveable, furry Grover.

I LOVEEEEEE that book! I just bought that for my godson!!!

That's my brother's nickname for me! He even bought me a stuffed Oscar the Grouch last Christmas - nice reputation I have in my family
