I told my FI I was so stressed out about the wedding and he said why should you have stress!!!!!!
My FI has no clue what time and energy is going into this wedding. He is not involved and sometimes gets me so angry!!! He thinks it's no big deal that our supposed organist has not called me back after 10 phone calls over the past couple of months. He said that he has to call us back
He just doesn't get it

Seriously though, you should talk to him and tell him how much effort you are putting into the planning and to be a little more sensitive. JMHO

I guess I am lucky FH understands now after all my drama with my MOH. He is attempting to help out a little more now also

Mine told me I bring the stress onto myself b.c Im making the centerpieces, menus, placecards, etc.

that is so funny b/c my fh feels the same way. i told him that on this stress test where they give events points as to how stressful they are, getting married, moving and starting a new job are like three of the highest. he says well, getting married and moving are worth 2 points and this job is worth 50 points...i'm like, nooooo, i'm trying to tell you that all three are horrendously stressful and it is normal right now for us to be stressed!!!

my FI seems to think the secret wedding fairy comes and takes care of everything...he came over last weekend and we addressed about 30 envelopes (out of like 125!) and i heard him telling someone we are sending the invites out this week....i was like, um, HOW do you think the rest of the envelopes are getting addressed? men have no clue how much goes on behind the scenes!!!

make him do one task, and then he will understand what your going through.. that is what i do with my fh... Revenge!!!!
