swan Club Girls Past and Future
Ok so I went already to pick the menu. The BM Barbara kinda made me upset when I asked her if I could do the candle place cards she said no.... She just wasnt very friendly. My mom asked asked about a salad at the cocktail hour and she like ripped her head off and said we don't do that here we have salad before dinner (which is what I said) but my parents are paying a lot of money she could have just done that to make her happy! When it got time for the cake I said I wanted a stacked Square cake what i really wanted was a stacked square stacks on sideways (does that make sense) I didnt want to say anything cause I didnt want to be a pain in the Arse! I left got home an realized that she didnt even shows us any pictures of the cake. I have no Idea what it will look like what it will be decorated like nothing. no I am going to call up my florist and see if she can get flowers for it. Does anyone know what it will look like? Will it just be plain any pictures?

My sister was married there last year and had a round cake. Here are some pics of it. Hope it helps a little.
By the way, don't worry. They did an amazing job. Barbara was my sisters BM and she was harsh but very good at handling everything. You are in good hands!

Personally if you feel uncomfortable with the way the meeting was handled, you need to make another appointment, march back in there with a list of questions and get some satisfactory answers and amenities.
You are paying how many tens of thousands of dollars to this hall and you are afraid of being a pain tn the arse? Uh-uh, NO WAY ... they should be afraid ...

I dont know exactly what you mean by stacked sideways but I think you really should sleep on it and write down all the things you have questions about and go back. Maybe bring a picture of what you want. And if she is being too rude, then maybe ask to speak to a manager or something. Good luck!

Wow, I have Barbara too, and she's been soo sweet to us, when we changed the rooms I must have called her like 1/2 dozen times and she was pretty good about it. But she does seem like she can be a tough cookie too..lol
My cousin's cake was squared but not off center like you want yours.. I'd take a picture to them to show them, or you might not get what you want.. ya know..
