NYC teachers...question for you

Did you complete your new teacher credits? I never did and was never asked for them....How about you guys? I'm wondering if I should finish completeing them...How many do we need anyway?

Being the idiot I am, I did them and never sent in the paperwork. Though this was in 97-98. No one ever asked me for them. I think we needed 30? I would not worry about it.

funny you ask, i was just thinking about them today. i didnt complete them, i think i am 2-3 credits short, but never submitted anything (i was told to wait till i had them all).
no one has said a THING to me about them!
(i believe the total is 30 credits ..?)

Who would we even send them to? The whole thing is so stupid if you ask me.....My school is constantly sending me to enough workshops during the day...Those should count!!!!
