If you're getting married at your reception site...?

How does the rehearsal work? Are you doing it during the week or the day of? If you do it the day of, does that mean that you and FH are seeing each other before the ceremony? Also, does it make sense to have a 'rehearsal dinner' if you're not having a rehearsal the evening prior? Thanks!!

We're having a 'rehearsal' dinner, but not rehearsing the night before (really just to visit with family, bridal party, and OOT guests). Rehearsal will take place that morning, but we are taking pics. before the ceremony anyway so I don't really care about the seeing each other part...

They gave us the option to do it a half hour before but that wasn't going to happen. We are having a rehearsal bbq the day before and practicing then.

We are having our rehearsal at the hall on the Thursday night before the wedding (2 days). We have an option to do the dinner there -- just a nice buffet. Or go someplace else for dinner.

Were doing ours the day of the wedding.. The Rabbi said it would take 2 minutes to go over who's walking down with who. I rather have it that way so I dont have time to get nervous.

Friday night were having a quick bbq w/ the wedding party at my FILs house to give out gifts... it's a quick early night. I want to be sleeping by midnight (if its possible..lol)

We did our rehersal an hour prior to the wedding. My DH was not involved with the rehersal because we did not want to see each other. The groom 's part is really easy anyway

. We did have a dinner the night before that we called our 'Non-Rehersal' Dinner.

We're having our RD the weekend before the wedding, just to get together with the members of our BP and our immediate family. We'll do the actual rehearsal the day of the wedding. We'll also be seeing each other for pictures before the ceremony, so it didn't matter to us.
