Update...new pics, Henry still needs a home
Henry is a 2 year old cat...he was adopted as a kitten, but was given back to Save A Pet because the owner was moving. He's having a hard time finding a home because he's no longer a kitten. However, the kitten I posted yesterday was adopted...yay...but I feel bad for Henry. All these babies come in and go home with loving families, and Henry just stays there...hoping to find a family of his own.
Here's some more pics. I took them with my phone, that's why the quality stinks...and the lighting was poor.
Here's contact info for Save A Pet...they are the organization that rescued Henry. Right now he's in a cage in the reception area of my DH's animal hospital.

Re: Update...new pics, Henry still needs a home
AWWWWWWWWWW aint he a sweetie!!??God I wish I could, but Buddy (our fat cat) wouldn’t like guests. He’s the king of our domain and we are only his simple servants.
It is a shame folks don’t adopt older cats. I find them amusing and less work. I have such a busy life, having a kitten would make me feel REALLY bad if I couldn’t spend a lot of time with it. Older Cats are set to be loved and played with when you can, but capable of playing on their own.
Jim & I want to get a cat when we move out. Kitten or cat, we’re not sure, depends on what we can handle. For now we live with his grandmother and Buddy rules us all!
Such a cute kitty! Looks like he loves to be loved!

Does he get along with other cats? Is he neutered? Does he have all of his shots? What is the adoption fee?My neighbor is looking for a kitten but maybe I can try to convince him. But those are all the questions he will ask me. Thanks!

He has his shots and he is neutered...for more information re: adoption fees call the rescue organization Save A Pet and ask for info about Henry, the 2 year old cat at Jefferson Animal Hospital. 631-473-6333. If that phone number isn't correct, try information, they are located on Route 112, Port Jefferson Station.

I think Save A Pet has a $100-$120 donation fee. They are really great there...I got my Chloe there and would definitely adopt from there again!

Oh thanks Chloegirl!!!I just want to add that the fee may sound steep, but they take care of the neutering and the vaccines. Of course, you have to take care of the future vaccines.
I'd call them up just to be sure of the fee for Henry.

Thats a cute cat. If I didn't sign a pet waiver when I moved into my co-op... I would get one.

Re: Update...new pics, Henry still needs a home
Oh, I wish I could take him!!! I already have 3 (the co-op board limit) and, coincidentally, the most recent addition was a 2 year old named Henry. Older cats are the best because they already have a personality and they're usually past the 'i have to scratch anything and everything' phase. I hope he finds a great home
