A couple of girls have asked to see my photo album and it's so much easier with a link than directions to get there. Can anyone teach me how?

Go to the pictures and copy the address that's in your browser. Then come back and post the link by clicking 'Insert Web Link' so we can see them!!

I was wondering, where did you get your dress? My mom is look for a similar style, and she also wants short sleeves to cover her upper arms....

Thank you everyone. It's such fun to share them with all of you, and very exciting to see how many of you took the time to look at them. It is so sweet to see.

Eogara, this is my daughter. I know I sound like a realy proud mom, but she looked very beautiful - and happy. That's what you want most as a mom.

Neesiepie, thank you so much for the compliment. It's a Jovani and many of the shops carry that line. I had a hard time finding something with a jacket that didn't have the straight skirt. So in the end I picked a salon with a seamstress who would make the jacket for me from the shawl. I got it at Elegant Bride in Albertson on Willis Ave. If I end up with a similar situation for my sons' weddings, though, I will seriously consider going to a dressmaker instead and having a real bolero style jacket made. Mine wasn't fitted and I didn't really love it. Also, in case your mom decides to do something similar, be sure they don't made a seam down the back. They wanted to cut the shawl and make a seam so the beadwork would be on the two sleeves. Thank God I questioned it and then I insisted I wanted no seam, and they sewed the beads on by hand after the shrug was made. There is always a lesson to be learned.
