photographer / videographer suggestions?
So my beautiful bride to be and I are seeking a photographer and videographer. We want to have something that is dynamic and progressive. Basically, we want more then the boring photos and video.I have 2 questions for you brides / wedding gurus:
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to getting a photographer / videographer package from one vendor? (besides being able to get a better price as a package)
Who do you recommend based on your personal expereince.
Please no replies from vendors.
Cheers,
Andrew

We are using Twelfth Night, who does not do video. We loved the work we saw and the prices were great.

Re: photographer / videographer suggestions?
we are using Patken for both...we booked them for pics & video since it was convienent and I liked their video...
I am really not sure what the advantage is... but if you feel comfortable with the vendor then its graet to use them for different things...
good luck!

Nick from Chateau Le Mer suggested Patken. I think they are going to be my first appointment. Thank you for your help :)

Re: photographer / videographer suggestions?
I used Twelfth Night Photography and Bliss Productions NY.I refused to use 1 company for both because I didn't want to put all of my eggs in one basket...

We are using North Island Photography and Classic Video in Commack. We are happy with the quality of work they have.

Yay! More CLM people! We are getting more and more! ;) There is a CLM thread on the 2005 board, there are 4-5 of us on there now I think.
I am using Twelfth Night as well- they are located in Mineola, but it is worth the drive! Their work is great and Dom is fantastic. They don't have a videographer but they recommend one, Mittermax. Travis and Dom used to work together so they are friendly and hopefully will work well together. Mittermax is located out by the Rockaways but he will go to Mineola to meet with you if its easier... if you know ahead of time, you could probably even meet them both the same night. Mittermax has an option on their video for a 'groom sequence', which is really cool! Definetly worth checking them out!
