When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
What do you mean? You put a small number in the corner to know how many people are invited for that RSVP? Or you number them to know how many you sent out?And has it helped?

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
My rsvp's are a blank card for people to write their responses on, not a fill in the blank...Therefore, I numbered my guest list and then put that corresponding # on the back corner of the rsvp card just in case people forgot to write their names!

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
i belive some wople put a number in a corner somewhere on the response card, and then keep track of what nemae went with what number....because when people respond, they might forget to put their name, or if the name is common in the family (for instance there are 3 different Mike P's in my family and 3 differetn Tom P's in my husband's family) then you know which of the people is responding by looking at the number on the card when it is sent back to you

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
I made a printout of my entire guest list and numbered it from 1-200. I then numbered the back of each response card, and the front of each response card envelope (where the stamp would go) so that when I was ready to mail the invites everything was in numerical order. It makes it so much easier when you get invites back to check yes or no next to that numbers name.Good Luck!

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
What I did was number my list on paper, so Ann Adams was #1Bill Brown was #2, etc
Then when my envelopes were ready I put #1 in the corner of the response card for Ann Adams, etc.
It was a great thing to do because I got some back that had no name or said Joe & Ann (at least then I would know their last name), it really helped me with DH's side since I wasn't too familiar with all of their names.

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
The numbering comes in handy when someone sends you back an RSVP without their name on it.So your list looks like...
1. Joe & Mary
3. Sue & Tom
5. Amy
6. Sam
etc.
Use the # next to the couple/person from your list and pencil it in on the back of your RSVP card.

We'vegotten two of them already where the people didnt put their names - we wouldn't have been screwed if it weren't for the numbers - DEF. do it!!!

Re: When you ladies talk about numbering your RSVP's
I wish I have numbered them I got one back with no name and its driving me crazy. I'm not sure if its one or 2 people who are coming. So we have to wait and see who didn't respond.
