Great idea! Where did you find the pots?

THANKS FOR THE INFO. MY CHURCH IS IN SEAFORD RIGHT AT ONE END OF 135 (SEAFORD-OYSTER BAY EXPRESSWAY) AND THE RECEPTION IS AT THE FOX HOLLOW AT THE OTHER END OF 135, SO I'M LOOKING FOR HOTELS RIGHT AROUND THERE. THE FOX HOLLOW SUGGESTS THE MARRIOTT RESIDENCE INN IN PLAINVIEW. DOES ANYONE KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS AND WHAT KIND OF PRICES THEY HAVE?

My Matron of Honor just gave me a great idea.

I found them at WalMart in NH, but I am sure they are available at any craft store or WalMart type franchise. You should also check out Home Depot. I am sure they have the little pots in their gardneing section.

PS- I just went back onto the site and they are now $2.00 each. I am calling the manufacturer to see if they will homor the $1.00 price. If anyone else is interested I can try negotiating a larger amount for a cheaper price... Let me know.

I'm doing the same thing for my favor! I'm getting terra cotta pots and hand-painting them (which should be pretty easy and make them look really cute - I saw pens for drawing on the pots at Frank's) and then putting a little packet of soil and a little packet of seeds (or bulbs - I haven't decided yet) inside and wrapping it all up with sheer material and a bow! I haven't begun making them yet, but that's my plan, anyway! There's another great website for that type of favor - www.tenderseedcompany.com. It even has instructions on how to put the favors together.

I just wanted to let you Macy's is having a great sale for Labor Day on jewelry. I just picked up necklace & earrings sets for 50% for all of my bridemaids (I have 10 of them!!) There's a large selection.
LOL!!!!!
