wedding gift question
Hi, girls... Where are you putting the wedding gifts you will be receiving from the guests the day of the wedding?? I've also seen somewhere online where you can buy a box for guests to slip in money and cards. Where can I find one with good prices? I just looked online and some of them go up to $300!
Thanks!

Re: wedding gift question
A lot of girls on here use mailboxes, birdcages or special boxes. I'm not too sure what I plan to use yet...

Re: wedding gift question
I'm probably going to get the bridal bag that I'll hold on my arm and put the gifts there. I'm not into the birdcage, box or mailbox...but they're great ideas.

Re: wedding gift question
We are using the bag. Apparently it's tradition for DF's grandmother to hold it. I don't care for the bag idea but if it makes his 90 year old grandmother happy then so be it. I will not carry it around though. Just hand cards to her to put in it.

Re: wedding gift question
I'm using a birdcage. My Aunt had it for my two cousins, so I am just borrowing it.

Re: wedding gift question
I'll use some sort of box with a slot cut out on top. The bag just seems cumbersome to carry around all night.

You can rent the bird cage for 40.00 bucks at FantasyLand (?) in Patchogue.

Re: wedding gift question
I rented a large wedding cake to hold the cards from Linda's Lovelies. I think it was $40 with a $100 deposit that you get back when you return the cake.

Re: wedding gift question
you can get birdcages on ebay for nothing! I check all the time. Just type in "wedding birdcage" into the search box.
