Girls, great Honeymoon deal!

I have been meaning to post this. Sandals is opening a new resort in Jamaica. It is one of their nicer ones. It will be built by Feb 2005. Right now they are having a promotional deal, 50% off if you book for Feb 2005-Dec 2005. Check it out at

The thing is if you go right to that resort url like I posted it will not specifically say that it is 50% off. I found that under the deals section when I went to the Sandals home page. However, if you are on the Whitehouse resort page, like I last sent, and you go to find out a quote, put in the basic info (don't worry you don't need to put in a credit card # or anything) it will show you how much it will be per person per night without the discount and next to it with the discount. Then if you calculate it, then it tells you how much it will be without insurance (which is like another $138 dollars) and you can check that and recalulate it.

For me I was going with the Delux Beachfront room. Origanally 330 per person per night, is now 167 per person per night. This is all inclusive with water and land sports. All drinks (including alcohol) all food and snacks, and tons of enertainment.

ok, I think i may blow my head off!!!!!!! We just booked like last month for Ocho Rios, and now I HEAR THIS.. it would of probably cost us half of what we paid

oh no, don't be sad. There are probably things at Ochos Rios that you love that they won't have at this place.
But you could always call and ask if you can trasfer the money to that one since it is still a Sandals resort. It is worth a try

I would defenitly try and transfer the money. If not then maybe the cancelation fee isn't such a big loss? I went to Sandels before and love them, either way you are in good hands and will love your honeymoon. Where ever you go you were ment to be there. Have Fun!

WOW! That's quite the deal! So glad we held off booking anything. Do you have to book through the website, or do you think we'll be able to get the 50% off at our travel agent as well?

I booked through my cousin who is a travel agent and Sandals agent. I got the deal plus a free upgrade. It helps to go through an agent!

i booked today through MAS travel!!!! What a great deal. I hadnt wanted to go to jamaica (but that was because i stayed at a nasty hotel on spring break) but my FI wanted to go to Jamaica, no matter what i showed him we came back to jamaica...so that is what we are doing....

also i was kind of anti sandals (just cause i thought it would be cheesy but i spoke to a bunch of people who said it is DEF not)

I am SO excited!!!!

We are staying in the Beachfront One bedroom luxury suite (i wanted room service hahahahaha) and then there is still room for an upgrade (fingers crossed!)

We are paying 4209 for 7 days/6nights (and all of our travel insurance and departure taxes are taken care of through the agent.

i am SO EXCITED!

I am still a little nervous though that it wont be ready (only 15 days after opening and the opening has already been pushed back) BUT if that happens then we still got a great deal, we just will be at a different sandals (in a room at our level or higher with sandals accruing the extra costs EVEN if it is on another island and we need to changer our flights etc) But i am not going to let that get to me

i am also checking with my travel agent who is a sandals agent. She may be able to get a better deal. Right now I have a 24 hr. hold on my package. That price does not include airfare due to the fact that Oct. 2005 airfare prices are not available yet. This resort looks so pretty. I love the European look. We were thinking about Italy but wanted the beach honeymoon, looks like we are getting both now.
