Need Your Help Ladies! Recpetion Site

Just came back from my honeymoon, spent and hour writing my review and it was lost!

ANYWAY, I am writing for my sister in law. She wants to be married next fall in a space that has tall ceilings and a countryside feeling, like the Riviera. Mom is not convinced the food presentation is great there and I just read some customer service reviews about Port Jeff Country Club that I'm not wild about. Any other places you can think of like these two places? No more than $100-$110 plate with about 120-130 guests.

Thanks for your help as always!

Re: Need Your Help Ladies! Recpetion Site

I *think* Stewart Manor has tall ceilings.

I am totally biased, but what about Danford's?

Or the Three Village Inn? (not sure if they have high celings but it's country-feeling)

Old Field Club

Look at East Wind, it ahs the tall ceilings, reasonable in price and is out east so it is really pretty. Not country though. I heard the same about port jeff cc

Re: Need Your Help Ladies! Recpetion Site

I vote for Chateau La Mer too! Although I personally think it looks NOTHING like the Riviera :) It does have tall ceilings and is on the water though.

The Woodlands in Woodbury is beautiful, and depending on the time of year and day of week, might just be able to fit into that price range.

Stewart Manor Country Club fits the bill - 100 person minimum, modest prices, warm cozy atmosphere with highwood beamed ceilings, two large fireplaces, etc.

I agree. I recently checked out the Woodlands while I was planning wedding B and I really liked it. I ended up booking with the Carltun, but I found the Woodlands to be really charming, they would have been my second choice.
