Anybody making their own place cards?

I was planning on using mine from the hall, but we got cute holders, and I just feel like hand written ones won't look great. I don't want to spend a lot of money. I was hoping I could do them on the computer. Any suggestions?

I bought business cards on sheets that have a leaf design on them to go with my fall theme, so I'm doing them using MS Word.

Cute idea. Do you have frames or some other type of place card holder also? How are you making them stand up?

I am going to try and do my own. I saw these small frames at Michaels, and I am going to try and write in calligraphy. We'll see how that goes!!

my husband designed them on the computer and we cut them out....you can use microsoft word and create a teble perhaps...then print them out on thick card stock and cut them

I printed my placecards out on our computer and attached them to these tulip candles for my Spring wedding
