Anyone have an emerald cut diamond on their engagement ring????

I was wondering this because I was told by a few jewlers that because of the shape of the stone that I would have to wear my engagement ring on my right hand. I am not happy with that, I mean I am somewhat of a traditionalist and I want to be able to wear my rings on the same finger. Any suggestions?????

I have an emerald cut engagement ring(I love it) with baguettes on the side.

For my wedding band, I got a channel set of princess cut diamonds and it look sfabulous together. I didnt want emerald cut baguettes as my wedding band and round cut stones don't go well with the emerald cut(in my opinion). Princess cut is your best bet or the emerald cut baguettes.

Are you able to wear the two together without there being a space between the two, that is what I don't like. Because the stone sticks out on mine. Maybe you have a higher setting than I do and that is why you can wear yours together....I don't know

I too have an emerald cut e-ring, with tapered baguettes on the side. My wedding band is also a channel set eternity band with princess cut stones.

I am planning on wearing them on the same hand, but there will be somewhat of a space because of the shape of the emerald cut.

as long as it gets set high on the band you can do it, mine is a radiant cut which is similar in shape to an emerald

I am having the same concerns. I have an emerald cut solitare that is in a pretty low setting. I don't like the space between the e-ring and the wedding band. I think the only way for me to avoid the space is to have something made to fit it perfectly. I am not thrilled with that idea, either because then I can never wear my wedding band alone. I think I will end up wearing my e-ring on my right hand...

my jeweler re set mine so it can fit flush with my wedding ring and it still looks the same

I have a radiant cut diamond. (similar- its a combo of an emerald cut with faciting like a brilliant cut). I had trouble finding a ring that sits flush. Some people said that I would have to wear my e-ring on my right hand. But I want to be able to wear them together. I am having mine band custom made at Elsa's in Farmingdale.

I have a radiant cut stone with princess on the sides and i am having the jewler custom make the wedding band to fit perfectly with my e-ring. by the way i love my ring can you tell.
