Cake Topper (Poll) - Now with PIC!!!!
What do you think about this cake topper? Its a bit pricey - but possible by the time my wedding rolls around it may be on sale

Usually I would never pick something like that - we are not mushy as a couple so its not indicative of us.. but there is something about it...  not sure what.

I love that. I hope that someone will give that to me as a present. (I showed it to my mom, so you never know. . .) If you want to use it, you just need to make sure it's not too heavy. (I already have a different cake topper. I just want it because it's beautiful, reminds me of FH and me, and I love Lladro.)

i absolutely love that one - and i am trying to convince my mom to buy it for me - there is a place in Huntington that sells them pretty close to wholesale place - it is in a house so it has no markings of a store - it is right on park ave just south of 25A - across the stre from the kissam house - i don't the name but my mom gets lladro's there cheap

I will register for it, but I have a very small family, so, most probably no one will buy it off the registry and I will have to purchase it myself 
Its $495 - but may be on sale by the time I get married... since its all the way next may

I love that Lladro, but just to let you know, it's probably too big to be a cake topper, it would fall right through the cake. It's a full size Lladro, so it might be too big and too heavy for the top of the cake but they might be able to put in next to the cake. They only really make one cake topper size Lladro, I'll see if I can find a pic

Thanks for that! I didn't know that! 
But if I do end up getting it, I'll probably put it next to the cake.. it might still look good - and still serve as a keepsake ;)

It's very pretty, but if it's not "you" why don't you keep looking around for something that is?
There are lots of personalized ones you can get that can still act as a keepsake and would feel more like you and your FH.
FYI - ebay always has lots of reasonable Lladros - some people don't really seem to know what they are worth. I know I've seen that one before, so if you decide to go with it, I would check that out first. If you know the name of the figure you can search by that, because just putting Lladro in gets you, like, 10,000 hits.
