Queens girls - hair salon needed

I have a few weddings coming up and am looking for a hair salon in Astoria or nearby that does nice updos and/or blowouts.

Any recommendations? Thanks!!

Re: Queens girls - hair salon needed

I don't know any in Astoria but if you get to Bayside I recommend -

Intercession - Sandra is great for updos
Salon de ja vu - good for blow outs & updos

If you want an inexpensive blow-out (nothing special, just blowing it straight) then go to Giorgios in the Whitestone shopping center. It's about $22 depending on your hair

Re: Queens girls - hair salon needed

Hairetage on 65th Place in Maspeth (near O'Neal's) has cheap, good blow outs - around $20

Metamorphose on Francis Lewis Blvd does good updo's. I just wa in a wedding party and I loved the way they did everyone's hair.

Re: Queens girls - hair salon needed

I use to go to Giorgios on Steinway Street for my haircuts and updos. Got two done BM updos done tehre and they always did a good job. They weren't dirt cheap but average for updo's.
