August colors

Hi Ladies,
I was wondering if I can get some ideas on colors for an August wedding...
I really like an iridescent rose color or an aqua color but my MOH thinks we should do darker colors. I'm also worried that a light color might blend in the pics. Any thoughts?

I would go for deeper colors for BMs dresses, like deep reds, blues, oranges... thats what I am doing for mine... the pictures will look better that way IMO

I'm doing pink and green bc I love that color combination. Going to go with a key lime or sage green for BM dresses prob.

Hi we are date twins - Anyway i am doing one bold color then a lighter color -mine are white and silver

I was planning on doing violet or light blue - i think it looks good to -it just has a much softer feel. i switched to make everyone happy with the color but you should do what you want

I would think that darker colors would be more for fall, but that's JMO. I would do bright colors for a more summery feel.

I am doing light pink BM dresses and planning on doing different shades of pink for flowers ect.

August was my second choice. It makes me think of bright vibrant summery colors...watermelon pink flowers and bright blue dresses...i love the idea of a very bright colored summery feel...but it's gotta be what you like! Any of those colors, blended with some sage green to tone it down would look just stunning to me!
