9/17, 9/18, 9/19 Brides check in

Hello all...it's been a while since last we spoke.

What progress has been made?

I have since ordered our rings and favors and booked our HM... I'm almost looking forward more to the vacation than I am to the actual wedding... almost.

I still need hair and make-up people... no one is getting back to me... one is even a vendor on this board.

Still need some gifts for BP (BM, FG, RB) and parents.

Need to start the seating charts, place cards, putting together favors and the like.

Go over music selections, must have photos.

We are scheduled to have our final meeting with the pastor at the end of August, get our license the beginning of September and lose what is left of our minds somewhere in between.

I have really nothing left to do. Two weeks ago I picked up my favors and last week I started making my menus (have 50 done already). I have started on my seating chart since my RSVP date is Aug 8th. Friday, FI will go pick up our bands and part of the GMs gifts. On Saturday, I have my second fitting and all my BMs are scheduled for their second fittings in August. This past weekend, we got our marriage license and had our final appointment with our videographer. I am having my final appointment with my photographer tomorrow. I think that is it.

53 days and couting!!!!

The invites went out 3 weeks ago. We've gotten back about 10 responses.

I've finally finished making favors, CPs, FG baskets, and their head wreathes.

Today, we ordered our cake and my wedding band!!!

We still need to:

Dress fittings
BP gifts
Get FH's ring
Final meeting with florists

(Edited: Got license yesterday!)

Other than that, we're good to go until the day before when we have to make all of the food!

so much to do...

need to finalize the menu
pick out flowers
make a list of songs
figure out transportation, hair and makeup
buy shoes
get marriage license
finish programs
create place cards and seating arrangements

and everything else i have forgotten

My invties finally went out!
Shower is on Saturday
First fitting on Aug. 10,
Waiting for East wind to call and set up apt for menu etc.
Need to get parents gifts

All in all I think everything is finally under control. 49 Days I can't believe it is so close!

I'm so afraid that I am going to forget something major.

As an update, I have hair and make up trial this week... hopefully they go well and I decide to book these ladies otherwise it's back to the drawing board. I should never have put these two things off as long as I did.

i am leaving this to the last minute and instead of paying someone, i am going to have a 'trial' with my sister in a couple weeks. i just can't be bothered not loving the outcome and paying a boatload of $$$

I am officially panicing! We may not reach our minimum number of guests. This is horrible. It is such a big room! It is going to look empty.

Pick our song
Pick parent dance songs
Pick entry song
Start programs
Order chocolates from Godiva
Dye my shoes
Pick up handbag from cousin's appartment
Get the rehersal dinner in order
Pick exact flowers
Order rings
Get Marriage licence
Have my necklace made fom old necklace
Seating charts
Final fitting
pick church music


Can I do it all????

All of this plus, go into closing on a new house, get my porfolio ready, go on interviews....

I am now setting up the seating arrangements and organizing all my stuff for the hall. Other than that, basically everything is done.
