Poll: is your MOH wearing a different shade/color dress?

I can't decide if i should have her wear a different color, she is already going to be strapless and all the others will have straps.

My MOH had the same dress, only her's had beadwork while the rest of the bridesmaid's dresses were plain......it's hard to notice in the pictures, but in person it was more obvioius.

all of my girls are wearing bill levkoff black satin gowns (what ever they chose) and my sister (MOH) dress has white satin on top and black satin on the bottom.

mine are all wearing the same dress and color. Mt MOH wanted it that

My sister (MOH) had a completely different dress, in a similar color, but a bit lighter, and a different fabric. She is 11 years older than me and felt she did the BM thing enough, so she wanted to be able to wear something she picked out, which I had no problem with.

I originally wanted her to but when we found "the dress", there was nothing to change as far as straps or no straps and she loved the color. So I am getting her a different bo-k and different jewelery.

My sister has a totally different dress, color and all, but that's mainly because its only her, my future step-daughter (10yo) and a FG.

My 2 MOHs are wearing pink and the BMs are wearing dusty rose.

I let my girls pick their dresses, so they all have different ones. My MOH has a lighter shade and a dress that purposely compliments mine.

Different dress, same color and material. Its my sister so I really wanted her to stand out, and she wanted to be different too.

My BMs are wearing a Lazaro straplless gown in Cognac..( a brown/copper color) with trim along the bust line.

MOH is wearing a tank style dress in the complimenting RUST color (the underside of the same fabric!) and the same trim, only around the waist.

They completely compliment eachother...but they are distinctly different.

Different dress, differrent colors... everyone else wore Black Bill Levkoff separates, and my sis wore a tuxedo dress, which was black and ivory

I let all my girls choose their own dress just in the designer/material/color I chose. They are all wearing strapless dresses. My MatronOH is wearing a different dress than everyone else but my MOH is wearing the same as someone else (it just worked out that way). I was more concerned about them being comfortable than anything else. I will be buying them shawls so my 2 MOH will have a different color and their BKs will be slightly different - haven't yet decided how different.
I feel that everyone will see them at the front of the hall during the ceremony, it will be pretty obvious they are the bridal party.

MY Moh BM's and JR. BM's are all wearing the same shade but diffrent styles from each group

MOH is wearing same color, fabric, but different dress.

All my girls will be wearing the same dress in the same color. My MOH will have a different BO-K from the rest of the girls!

My MOH is wearing a different dress -- burgundy with organza overlay, boddice is crinkled with black. The BM is wearing a all black dress. Same shape and style. No organza overlay.

Yes, My MOH's wore a darker blue.

Thanks everyone! We decided that my MOH will wear the same dress in a lighter shade of blue.

My MOH made a big stink about wanting to wear a totally different dress AND shade of color than the rest of my BMs. No. I was NOT going to have that. In the end I end up paying for the damn dress and her shoes. She did give me some money. Since she wanted to be so "different" she didn't do anything different on my big day as she NEVER gave a MOH speech, no bridal gown train adjustment at the alter, nothing else. She did not go "the extra mile" just the bare minimum duties, not even average MOH. I want a consistent BM gown look on our wedding day and let her know that I was the bride and that I was in charge-I was the BRIDE. It's YOUR one big day where you're the boss and things should go in favor/in honor of you and your DH. How often do/will you have things go your way in your life where you and your DH are in total control?

Nope. Same gown as the rest of my bridesmaids. The only one different is my 12 year Jr. BM who has a different shade and different gown as she was only 12! My Jr. BM wore ivory rather than Champagne color, but her gown was the same style as it has a overlay piece. My Jr. BM was the only exception, all adult BM and MOH wore exactly the same gown and same color.

My MOH is wearing a completely different dress, she is wearing a bluebell strapless Nicole Miller gown and the maid are wearing pink strapless Vera Wangs.
