Any ideas on where to hold a surprise 30th Bday party...
for my DH? I need some names of places on the island...preferably in Nassau County...any ideas girls? I want someplace where they'll do the catering...I don't want to have to go outside for that...

McArthur Park in RVC has a back room
VFW in Oceanside - i think they do the food there
OOh - the American Legion in East Rockaway has a nice hall - the Colonial Room - they redid it a year or so ago and I've never been in it but heard it is nice. But I don't know if they cater it or not.
Alias Smith and Jones in Oceanside
The K of C in Oceanside has a room downstairs that would fit about 50 people but I don't know if it would fit that many with a DJ too (which I assume you will have for a b-day party)
If you change your mind about the catering, next door to my dad's house is Oceanside Hose Company #1 (firehouse) and they rent out their upstairs. Lots of parties there. And it's big and you can have a DJ there.

Vito's in Long Beach
MAdison Hall in rockville Centre-Bar that does catering and perfect for a 30th b-day I think.
