Who is an LIRR commuter? What train?

Do you commute on the LIRR?

Thought maybe if any of us are on the same train we could try to meet once in a while for the ride home and trade war, I mean wedding stories.

I commute from East Williston (Oysterbay Line) I'm usually on 6:16 out of Penn.

I'm never in the mood to chat in the morning so I'm not even posting what train I take in.

I take the train from Hicksville... on most mornings I catch the 7:55 to LIC and change at Jamaica. On the way home, I am usually on the 5:35 or 5:41.

Ronkonkoma line. Usually take the 5:41 or the 5:53 home.

Ronkonkoma 6:21 or 6:53..and sometimes when I'm really lucky 7:11!

Cool! I try to stay in the last couple of cars, less platform traffic to contend with when trying to get to my car.

Right now I take the Huntington line to Cold Spring Harbor, but soon, (if we get this house we're buying) I will be taking it to StonyBrook, or the Ronkonkoma line. I usually leave the office at 7:00.

I take the train from and to Massapequa. The 7:14 in the morning and either the 5:36 or 5:59 home.

I need a different job with better hours! I take a 6:58 in and when I'm really lucky most days a 6:53 home! I need to re-negotiate

I take the 4:46 or the 5:14 to Bayside....but hopefully by the end of October I will be going to Great Neck.

I pick it up at Mineola.

So technically I am on many lines. Usually Huntington or Ronkonkoma lines.

In winter months when I’m afraid to let Jim drive up that steep hill to get to the train station I use the Hempstead line which is half a block from my house. Express four stops to Penn.

Leave KP at 6:27, leave Penn at 4:56 (just for the summer)

All other times of year I get the 6:28PM from Penn

I commute from Roslyn Heights. I am on the 6:18 train the morning and only on Fridays am I on the 6:16 out of Penn. Otherwise, I am on very late trains!

Maybe we can meet up?
