Getting marrried on Sunday with bad weather... Im feeling really depressed!

Im so upset, I knew that my wedding was going to be perfect except for one thing... throughout the whole planning I had a feeling that it was going to rain. I kept on looking at the farmers almanac and it said there was going to be a storm and sure enough they are predicting rain I am so upset.

You never know, I heard it will be bad tomorrow night and Sunday morning. It might clear up later in the the day on Sunday!!!

It's good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Don't worry about it. Buy a big white golf umbrella and enjoy the day.

don't let it get you down! this is my biggest fear as well only because my hair will be twice the size if humid

if it does rain, so what. you will have a great time, just roll with it

please don't be upset about this! Even if it DOES rain you will still be marrying the love of your life and your day will be perfect anyhow!!

I know the weather forecasts do not look promising , but they are wrong SO OFTEN you just never know

The entire weekend of my wedding thru the following week was supposed to be a washout . ..indeed the Fri and Sat b/f my wedding it was miserable .. the very morning of my wedding they STILL predicted showers, rain and clouds all day. And wouldn't you know, the sun came out the minute I arrived at the church and it was a perfect day

So ya never know ........ i'll do a SUNdance for you and say a bunch of these

I'm a fanatic when it comes to the pictures - and I don't think bad weather is that bad at all - it sometimes photographs better - no one is squinting, and the pictures come out more dramatic.... especially if you are taking pictures by water - there is that mist that just looks beautiful. It all depends on how you look at things.

I dont mind as much if it rains in the morning or even throughout the ceremony I just wish that if it had to rain the it would stop before the ceremony was over so I could take nice pictures outside of the church. Also, my cocktail is supposed to be outside. I dont care if it even rains after the cocktail. I love the grounds of my place and I've been working so hard this year to make everything perfect and I hate not having control over this.

Dont be upset. It rained the whole day of my wedding and then as soon as I got to the ceremony it cleared up. If it rains it's good luck. Your day will still be perfect rain or no rain!

Just focus on the fact that you are marrying the LOVE of your life!

One of the best weddings I attended was during a snowstorm....there was this mood about the wedding...a 'love conquers all' kind of mood....the day will still go on as planned despite what mother nature throws in your path!

AND--Hurricane related weather reports are often grossly exaggerated! You really may have sun on your day!

I appreciate you girls cheering me up, I am just so uptight, my cousin came over to stay with us with his wife because they are outof towners and my mom is all nervous and snippy... its just getting really stressful and I have no desire to even pack up my suitcase when I really should? I guess this is my way of being nervous. I just feel like sleeping.
I was doing great yesterday, I picked up my gown and accessories Iwas extremely excited until all my girls started calling me to ask me how I felt abou the weather... I mean what do u think i feel!

last report i heard was that it was expected to clear in the afternoon so dont worry too much

yea i keep on looking at the weather.com site and it says scattered tstorms ant 60% chance of rain, but my friend said that she was watching metro weather and they said it is supposed to clear up in the afternoon. Who knows... I just hope for the best!

Don't stress or depress yourself over something you can't control!! Your day will be beautiful and perfect with or without rain!!! Cheer up -- you are going to be a bride in TWO DAYS!!

yes, thank you. I definatly need to be around people that will point these things out to me. I went to go visit my friend at work who is super high on life and made me feel a little better, but i was feeling sad and decided to go online.

Take it from another bride who had rain on her day - you are so happy and excited that you really don't even care about it.. Just have a backup plan for pics and you're good.

also all of the stress and snippiness, etc will be gone by Sunday am. After a horrible week I remember the morning of my wedding was so peaceful and calm...

You're going to be a beautiful bride and you will have a beautiful day regardless of Mother Nature

no. no. no. no. no - PLEASE don't fret about the weather. I was just like you, in such a state of panic about the forecast and literally depressed about it...my poor mother - the anxiety I put her through - I was in nysterics. let me see if I cans find my original post and bump it for - you will NOT care when you wake up on Sunday and you are getting married...TRUST me!!!

Stop looking at the weather channel and weather.com, LOL. It will just keep making you crazy. Have some fun visiting with your cousin and packing. You will have a beautiful day, regardless of the weather!

it will all be ok. i checked the weather for yesterday so i could go to the beach...UH IT WAS SUNNY ALL DAY and the damn weather.com said rain all day.

i know it sucks that you can't take pics outside...thats one of my biggest fears too, but the rest of your day is going to be so amazing. it rained on jessica simpson's wedding and she said, rain is so magical!

Probably very few things will console you - but try to remember how perfect everything will be inside! You're wedding is going to be wonderful. I made an agreement with FH - if it rains on our wedding day there will be no disappointments - we're going to have the DJ play lots of songs about rain so we can laugh it off. 4 Strings has a great song - Let It Rain.
