she wants to do something different and exciting...Does anyone have any ideas? It would be mid september.

What kind of stuff does she like? Would she want to go to a show -- like a murder mystery/Tony & Tina kind of thing? Go away somewhere? Maybe organize a day trip, like white-water rafting or a trip to the winery or something like that. Or are you looking for just a night thing?

If you do a weekend you should go down to Cape May NJ- it will still be warm and it is a great town..

also, I can recommend Mangi E Bevi in the city for dinner-- Fun italian place where you dance on the tables and stuff during dinner
