1st Anniversary - 3 day weekend suggestions

Any suggestions (besides Montauk - my IL's live out there so it wouldn't really be a vacation )

I was thinking Poconos....but can anyone suggest any specific resorts in the Poconos or upstate, CT, Maine, etc?

thanks!

Re: 1st Anniversary - 3 day weekend suggestions

The Inn At Mystic (or Mystic Inn?) in CT is nice (we had a spa tub) ... you can shop, go to the aquarium, take a trip to Foxwoods ...

Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, VT but might be too far for a 3 day weekend and not sure what excitement there is in the fall (restaurants, etc may not open until closer to winter).

Hmmm ... I'm drawing a blank!

Paradise Stream, another Caesars resort like Cove Haven, was a lot of fun. My DH and I have been twice already. Its how we spent our first anniversary. I highly recommend it.
