Re: question for fall/winter brides

My MOH's dress comes with a wrap. I ordered and am paying for wraps for my BMs and JBM.

I don't know how much it will help, but I'm going to feel really guilty making them satnd on the church steps in the cold weather. Especially after getting them at my house at 5am to get their hair done.

They are gonna hate me enough - the wrap was the least I could do.

Where did you order their wraps from?

My bridal salon ordered extra fabric from the dress company and is making the wraps for me. They are charging $60 for my BMs and $50 for my JBM. Not too terrible...

My dress has sleeves, albeit sheer. I'll just suffer through it.

What color are your girls wearing? You could get them inexpensive knit shawls or pashminas in a complimenting color or in black. TJMaxx had some nice ones last week for $20, I think...

Re: question for fall/winter brides

I had a wrap for my dress which I didn't use - I froze my rear off but I didn't care.

However, I did get one for my bridesmaids and it definitely came in handy - they wore them in the church and for pics. Def. worth the money.

Re: question for fall/winter brides

My BM dresses came with a wrap.

My dress is sleeveless and I don't plan on getting any type of wrap or shawl. I figured since my ceremony and reception is going to be in the same place I most likely won't be outside at all and wouldn't need it!!

Re: question for fall/winter brides

My dress came with a Paris jacket (like a bolero) and I bought my BM's wool wraps and had their initial embroidered on the corner.

Re: question for fall/winter brides

I ordered wraps for my girls, and I had a wrap myself, but we only wore them during the ceremony as I had a traditional orthdox jewish ceremony and our shoulders needed to be covered. Honestly, I had the most beautiful weather on my wedding day! And I'm sure, even if it was cold, I wouldn't have even noticed!
