I was going to but they told me they don't want them!! I was going to get them either isotoners or flip flops but they said their shoes are so comfy they don't think they'll need to change. I'm not so sure...

i was thinking about doing this....maybe the chinese slippers or just comfy slippers

They are buying their own shoes... whatever they want.

Yes, I got them all those chinese slippers - Jax430 knows a place that sells them 12 pairs for $15!!!! So between the 8 BMs, two pairs for myself, and two pairs for Jax, we had the 12. Sweet.

ETA: My girls could get any shoes they wanted, but I KNOW that some of them didn't listen to me about getting comfortable shoes. So rather than have them running around barefoot I'll give them these!

No because they are getting whatever shoes they want. If I made them get uncomfortable shoes then I would maybe buy them flip flops or something.

I let them wear whatever they wanted and they were welcome to bring sneakers to change into (like I did)...a few gals went barefoot!

I bought them all the chinese slippers also. They're the slip on ones with the mesh and sequins. Their dresses are claret so I bought sliver. They're only $5, can't beat that. They pretty much have them at every mall in one of those carts in the middle of the floor.

I'm not. They chose their shoes so I didn't force them to get ones that were uncomfortable.

i'm getting them black isotoners - (their gowns are black)
I hate the way flip flops look and I know one too many girls who have fallen on their faces trying to dance in them !!

i bought them all isotoner ballet slipper style slippers in the same color as their dress.

one of my bms bought these for everyone...they decided amongst themselves that they would do it, I was too busy worrying about my own feet, lol

That's exactly what I'm talking about. They are so comfy and look so much nicer than flip flops imo.

Did the isotoner slippers for all. Had them dyed to match the ruby colored dresses, but I forgot where I had them dyed.

Mom my really appreciated them more than the BM. She had them on right after the cocktail hour!

I picked up the slippers for PrincessRose on Broadway between 26th and 27th..or it's 27th and 28th...either way, it's on my way down from the 28th St. R/W to my externship on 26th St. There are a bunch of places that sell them, but that was the cheapest.

Besides the 12 pair for $15, they sell 2 pairs for $5. RedRoses and I also found a place around broadway and 28th that sells for $2 a pair. They are all over the area. These slippers are so comfy, and we get away with wearing them to work, with skirts, pants or whatever.

Perfect for BMs at the wedding!!

I'm doing the slipper basket at the reception, so they can just use those. I'm doing all black, so it will even match their dresses.
