How much did you spend on Wedding Bands?

This may be an old topic, but we just bought our wedding bands today. I was shocked to see how expensive they charge for 2 plain bands. We went to Tri County expecting a good deal since we weren't going for diamonds. How bad could it be??... $1300 later we got two everyday wedding rings. And thats after talking the guy down from $1800.

Definetly an unexpected curve in our budget. But it's done.
Is that average????

Well I got 5 teeny, tiny Diamond chips going across, but it was no more than the one without the chips so I went with . His ring alone was $850. Plain-Plain brushed white gold.

In my opinion seems like a lot of money my wedding band has 2 carats worth of diamonds and was $1500, I got a good deal b/c FH's Aunt spends a lot of $$ w/ the jeweler and I have also been spending a lot of money w/ him but FH's brushed white gold band was only $250.

Mine was $1500 and FI's is $1300 but that's because FI's is platinum..:Everything WEDDING related.. is

mine was a set to my engagement ring setting- it was $200 pave diamonds and his was $250 simple white gold band w/ grecian key on it!

My ring is a plain solid white gold ring that cost about $100. FH's ring cost $300 it was also white gold but it had a design around the band.

has anyone ever heard of or gotten a titanium wedding band? My FH read about them somewhere, supposedly they don't scratch or tarnish, but i don't know where to find them.

we went the platinum route and paid ~$1050 for both.

FH was interested in titanium as well but the jewelers talked him out of it. they are rigid and therefore really difficult to resize if need be...

we bought this one, mine is 2mm -the same as my engagement ring band, and he got a 3mm- and paid about 1200 total.

We have matching bands.

Like this, but WITHOUT diamonds.

They are by Movado and we got them on clearance. They are solid 18k white and yellow gold (pretty heavy too)

We paid $100 each

I have 2 bands and FH has one.
the pic is of the one I have now it matches my Ering exactly Im not sure how much b/c fh bought it as a suprise for me but I think it was around $500

The band FH fell in love with is $300

and the eternity band I ordered is $3100

That does seem like a lot of money for plain wedding bands. My fiance and I went to tri county this weekend. We stopped by the Italian jewelry retailer. They quoted us an eternity band with diamonds going all the way around 1.35-1.50 weight--$1200.

Mine is .58 points and was 900
FH has a braiding design and was 250
Both are 18k white gold

Mine has 7 diamonds and totals a little over a carat, I paid 600 bucks. JT's is Titanium with 18k gold and was 200, I think.

My husband got a plain band in white gold from a jeweler in the diamond district and it was $175. My band is platinum and is about .75 carats worth of diamond and was $975.

My band was customed made and was $1500. It is carat worth of diamonds. FH band was a comfort fit band $350.

FH surprised me and bought me another band that I had my eye on for my wedding present.
