Ours together was about $700. His was white gold and about $200 and mine was WG with .5 caret of diamonds going halfway around band. We shopped around quite a bit to get that deal.

goodness - we paid 150 each for ours they are white gold with 3 carats of aquamarine set into them -
1800 sounds like alot of money to me

that does sound like a lot of money...i got a simple white gold band and it was $40 i think.
I also have a white gold band with pave diamonds in it to match my e-ring and it was a little over $300.
DH got a plain stainless steel band and it was $80.

I got a plain platinum band, $300 and FH's also plain platinum was $900

I was most surprised at how much the men's bands cost. Why should a plain gold band be over $500? I can understand the diamonds increasing the cost but the ones that were plain I did not get.

Well, my ring was $1700 (custom made diamond band) - but FI's was $5 on ebay It's embarrassing to admit, but he is proud of it!

We spent $1300 both bands are platinum and mine has 5 baguettes. We got them at the Jewerly exchange in Jersey.
