Seasonal hair loss
Anyone experience this?I have been losing a lot more hair than usual lately and I notice especially in the shower. My DH reminded me that I freak out about this every year about this time and it's always fine.
But I do notice my hair slightly thinner than usual.

Re: Seasonal hair loss
This happens to me, too and I FREAKED last year. I asked my hair girl and she said it's completely normal to shed hair this time of year. And if you look at my head closely, you see all my little baby hairs sprouting. But it still freaks me out. My hair gets all over the bathroom. I am constantly cleaning in there.

I always lose hair. Yet I have the fullest head of hair of anyone I know. I guess the ones that are falling out are making room for the new ones.

I work part time in a hair salon and our clients rave about a product called Nioxin. It's shampoo, conditioner, and scalp therapy. Maybe it would help you.

Re: Seasonal hair loss
Major hair loss happens 1-2 times a year. My hair dresser said that you should be worried if you didn't shed. She also recommends that at least once a year, you cut a good amount of hair off. This makes the shedding less noticable and it is very healthy for your hair. For example, all year long I get reshapping done but in the summer towards fall, I cut 4-5 inches off. My shedding is less noticable and my hair feels great!

I am the exact same way!! My husband swears I should be bald by now. But, I have ALOT of hair!
