What kind of bra/corset should I wear with a strapless gown?

I have a strapless and I guess I need something under it. Any suggestions? What is everyone else wearing? TIA!

I bought a plain strapless/seamless bra and a corsette from Victoria's Secret and I didn't need either one. I didn't even need cups.
Did you go for your firt fitting yet?

I got one of those strapless long-lines bras. It's like body armour made of fabric! But it will do the job. It just has regular bra-style hooks down the back.

I had originally bought a strapless long line bra but opted to have cups put in my dress....I looked alot more 'well rounded' per se.....

I did! See pic. Do you think a corset would make it look less wrinkly around the stomach (or do I actually need to get off my butt and lose some weight ) ? Or do I not need one?

i think it depends on boob size... i am wearing a strapless, and i initially tried it on at the salon with a corset, but i think they're just going to put support cups in it and i'm going to go braless.

It may take some of the wrinkles out, what did your seamstress say? You can buy corset, make sure its plain and has no lace etc on it, you may be able to see it through the dress.

And leave the tags on it and if you don't like it, you can return it.

Because of the way my dress is made, I needed a strapless bra-corsett that had no bonning because it would show through the organza...and David's Bridal was the only one place that still made them.

Really comfortable and like $65. It's covered in white spandex (i guess) that's what it feels like.



check it out..but be careful, David's has a bad rap out here.

I was in Kohls and they have nice ones, completely plain, low back.

I have that same one. It gives a good push! I also tried the Victoria's Secret one.. I didn't like that as much.

I wore a low back strapless bra and the lady put cups in the dress to give me extra boobs!
