Thank you cards for e-party

Did you girls get formal thank you notes to send out after your engagement party? The same thank yous that you'll send out after wedding?

Obviously I truly am a wedding newbie. thanks!

I bought white cards with 'Thank You' written in silver script on the front. My invitations were silver too.
