hello ladies

Ok.. I must apologize... I am a LONG time LIW bride, but cannot use my normal name because my hubby and a couple members of my friends and family are all lurkers or members.... That said....

My DH&I are TTC, 'unofficially' ... AF is about a week late, and there are NO SIGNS of her arrival. I have taken 2 HPT's so far and both say negative. I have a child already, and remember what I felt like in the beginning. I know I have a bunch of preggo signs and symptoms, but am getting VERY discouraged by the negative results.

don't be discouraged....everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. Have you been under any stress? changes in diet or excercise? recently off the pill? these can all affect your cycle.

I also think that many girls don't get their BFP till a few days or more after AF is late....gives the hormones a chance to build up.

Take the test in the AM with your first pee...I think that is the best time since the hormones get all night to build up!

If you think you are and are showing signs and getting a negative, call the doctor see if they can give you a test. I think their tests or more sensitive, or maybe they will do a Beta test for you.

I haven't been on the pill in over two years.. whats a BFP? I took the second test in the am, this am.... And still nothing... Thank you for the baby dust.
