We are going on a cruise.

Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas. Leaving from Miami, going to Cococay, Nassau and Key West. Then we are staying in Miami for a few nights.

My fiance is thinking like that. We want to go to Disney but he's afraid with the hurricanes that they got this year. My aunt said we could get vacation insurance which could cover in case of weather conditons.

We're also getting the insurance - better off just in case. I figure it this way - we were set on September so we have three choices:

1. Go somewhere 'safe' like Aruba or Hawaii

2. Hold off on the honeymoon and go later on when the hurricance season is over

3. Take our chance and make it an adventure

I respect that we all have our own opinions - for us we there are two places we want to go before we start a family - Cabo and Italy. We decided to make Cabo the honeymoon spot because we do not want to go touring on our honeymoon. We want to relax - funny though cause if there is a storm and we have to evacuate then I don't see too much relaxing. But we agreed - we've been on a bunch of trips together and so this will not be the first romatic trip - if something happens we'll make the best of it and try to laugh. I don't want to go to Aruba or Hawaii - everyone in our families did that so I feel it's kinda played out - for us. And no way I want to delay cause with all this planning we deserve a treat. So - this way the option we chose.

I also agree with you that I don't want a break. I told fiance that when people plan vacations, you never know what the weather will be like. He agreed with that. Hopefully it won't be like this next year. I spoke with someone who lives in Coral springs, he's been there for 7 years and this is the first year where Florida has gotten hit with so many hurricanes.

We're getting married in Sept but doing our honeymoon at Disneyworld in October for Halloween. I was there a few years ago with my god-daughter and I had such a fantastic time. The weather was beautiful, not at all crowded and everything was decorated with the Halloween theme.

Jumby Bay, Antigua. We were very concerned about hurricane Season, but decided to bite the bullet and do it anyway. We feel especially daring as we managed to escape Frances on Key West last week
