Thanks to All LIW Girls for your support. My Update...since taking my leave of absence from law school!

I really, really, really can't thank-you all enough for helping me through a difficult time when I decided to leave law school. I feel sooooooooooooo much happier and relaxed and at peace with myself. I got a job offer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the city and I start 9/20. I'm scared, but excited to start. They offer so many opportunities...not only promotionally, (also medical coverage), but they offer you 100% tuition reimbursement. I'm so excited that I'd be able to pursue and grow in so many directions from this company. I feel like I could do anything I want.

I've actually been considering psychology, teaching or even pharmacy (I was a pharmacist tech. before law school and loved learning about med. and the body, etc.)...I think my problem is that I love so many things, (and want to learn about everything), that I'm trying to find something that incorporates it all.

I still haven't officially withdrawn from law school, but I wanted to easily let go because it was so mentally and physically difficult to leave. I know I made the right decision. Everyone in my family still doesn't know that I'm not in law school anymore, but..YOU KNOW WHAT....I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY SAY...IT'S MY LIFE.

I'm so happy to have found this board. You ladies have been so wonderful and helpful. Even though I don't know all you ladies personally, I really want you all to know that you have made a difference in my life.....

That is so great. I'm really happy for you! There are SO many other opportunities out there. You sound so much more relaxed and confident now! That really is great.

Congratulations! I'm so happy everything is working out for you. One final word of law school advice though--withdraw soon because the longer you wait, the less of your tuition you'll be able to get back. Good luck with your new job!
