Looking to go away Columbus Day Weekend

Any suggestions? We don't want to go anywhere too far.

We're going to Mohegan Sun...Friday and Satuday night. We're staying in a hotel about 6 miles from the casino. We'll probably hit some of the outlets while we're up there, should be a nice relaxing but fun weekend!

We can't go away the whole weekend, but we are going one night to Montauk. It's fall festival out there that weekend.

Ive been spending my weekend at my Inlaws new house in Windham NY ....Waiting for the leaves to change- want to go horseback riding and go to Howe Caverns too! Used to come up here for vacation all the time as a kid- i love it up here.

So its 3 hours from LI unfortunatly (only 1 hour from me) but The Albergo Allegria B&B is highly recommended.

I don't have any reccomendations off the top of my head right now. But getting away is always nice & I wanted to say I hope you guys have a nice time!
