For the 1st time since the wedding...we heard our 1st dance song...

For the 1st time since the wedding...we heard our 1st dance song...

so we got up and did our dance, (we took lessons for over a yr and a 1/2 b4 the wedding) and we remembered it! But at the end I got really teary eyed, im so sad we cant do our dance again in fornt of everyone it was so much fun. Just getting a little emotional thinking back on our day i guess forgive me, but i knew my fellow newly weds would understand. Whenever i would hear the song before the wedding i was so excited thinking about that moment, but now just sappy memories come to mind.

we were at my FIL's house and the song came on the radio. DH's stepmother started to laugh and came in the other room where we were and sure enough, we had heard it and started our dance. We remembered all of the steps!! The lessons paid off...it was too funny, we had her and my FIL laughing.

I heard mine the other day, and got really melancholy. It was so nice (even though I didn't think it then) waiting for the wedding to come. Life is so hectic now...back to reality.

On our one month anniversary we went out to dinner and whe we got home, DH put on our cd player and 1st dance song and we danced in our living room. It was so much fun!

I understand! A month and a half after our wedding we went to a wedding for a friend of mine and they had the same first dance song! I almost cried watching them dance and thinking back to our day!!!!
