my first cooking experience

so since my breakup in june i have not cooked at all...my ex always did the cooking and as crazy as it sounds that was like our little 'thing' together, i would help, while we he was cooking and we would chat and catch up for the day while he taught me the 'tricks of the trade' lol..so it sounds kinda nuts but being in the kitchen in my apartment was hard for me to conquer i guess...so all i do is eat at my moms, our order in food..and obviously that coudnt countinue forever..so i made my first attempt last nite at cooking on my own..my fave food--and the fave thing i ate with my ex..chicken, and rice and beans and the sad part is i was actually sad eating it on my own cause for some reason it reminds me soo much of him, yet i was beyond proud of myself for making it all on my own..anyway just wanted to share my proud moment, guess whats for leftovers tonite LOL

Re: my first cooking experience

Stay strong. You can't deprive yourself of your favorite food just because your ex is depriving himself of you! Keep it up!
