Full skirt : A line or ball gown?

I've never heard this term used before. I thought it was either an a line or a ball gown, but the description says 'full skirt' Can someone explain....

That looks like a ball gown to me. It has the defined waist-round skirt thing.

maybe it is a type of ball gown.

A salewoman in Kleinfelds told me that the skirt must have pleats to be considered a ballgown, it has nothing to do with how poufy the skirt may be.
