Re: Perceptions Photography

His work looks amazing, but he was way out of my budget.

Re: Perceptions Photography

I used them a few weeks ago, but I don't have proofs back yet so I can't really comment.

Okay, this was so not helpful!

Re: Perceptions Photography

Like every place there is good and bad. We checked them out. They do all photojournalistic. They were out of our budget, for what we were looking for. Even though I love the photojournalistic style, I wanted more contemporary poses than what they were offering. Good luck.

Re: Perceptions Photography

We booked them (Anthony, the owner, specifically). They are great! They are photojournalistic, but you can add on a 'traditional' photographer who provides about 300 proofs on his/her own. Also, you can customize your package, which we did. They are very pricey, but IMO they're worth it

Re: Perceptions Photography

My friend used them. The owner showed up to church with sandals on his feet, not professional looking at all. It bothered me because he really stood out. Her wedding was in June and she has her proofs, but after asking numerous times to see them she always has an exuse why I can't. IE... she forgot them or doesn't know exactly where she put them.

IMO- I'd rather have my photographer take AMAZING pics and be comfortable, than take horrible pics and be 'dressed professionally' IMO that was the LEAST of my worries.

Anthony is a terrific artist and if he wears sandles so he can move around quickly and quietly at a church to get an amazing shot... then he should (he wore sandles at mine!)

Anyway- I used Perceptions and I LOVE Anthony and his work.
My pics were incredible.

Re: Perceptions Photography

when people are pointing and making comments about the photographers attire, that's a problem to me

and another thing that really bothered me.. he had an assistant who pushed a pregnant guest out of her way to get a shot!!! Not exactly a great thing to do

Re: Perceptions Photography

I went to them. I fell in love with the brochure and price wise it seemed ok. When I got to studio, they nickeled and dimed you for everything...For instance, if you want photojournalism, you 'have' to have a 2nd photographer and that's an extra $895. Then the album I wanted was like another $1000....Great work - high prices!

Re: Perceptions Photography

Their work is truly amazing but they were pricey and I thought the packages were small. If I could have aforded them I would have used them.

Seriously I couldn't agree more.
Half my church showed up in Jeans & T-shirts and then went home to change!
